Today was the day for your school field trip to the zoo. I'm sorry I wasn't allowed to go with you. I hope you had a wonderful time with your friends. Riding the school bus all that distance was probably a lot of fun.
You, Hollister, and I have been to the zoo several times in the past. We've been when it's cold and we've been when it was so hot we stayed in the splash pad area until time to leave. We would usually feed the ducks (and one swan with a crooked wing) at the park outside the zoo before leaving for home.
